MTV Play wins Connected TV Award for User Experience!

We're very proud of the Vigour team and are happy to see our hard work recognized with another award: During the Connected TV World Summit in London late June, we were honored for our "Contribution to User Experience" with the Videonet "Connected TV Award 2015".

In March during the Mobile World Conference we launched MTV Play, Viacom's OTT service for all their famous MTV content in Europe. This innovative contextual multiscreen service is tailored to the viewing habits of a whole new generation of Millennial viewers out there. The way we embrace all common viewing platforms, including the TV, made all the difference for winning this award.

Ned Wiley and Leo

This new category for User Experience rewards technology providers for enabling notable advances in the entertainment experience related to television. It embraces user experiences on the main television screen, user experiences that rely on the combination of the main and companion screens and user experiences available on multiple devices at the same time.

We thank our partner Viacom International Media Networks for making this bold move and for working with us to bring the first contextual multiscreen UI to the market! This will change how we experience OTT video!
